Official Meeting at the World Bank Georgia

On November 15, a meeting took place at the Georgia office of the World Bank, bringing together representatives from the Health Association and the World Bank. The participants engaged in discussions regarding new regulations in the field of healthcare, challenges in primary care, and the introduction of the new financing method, DRJ. Additionally, there was deliberation on the importance of palliative care and the advancement of the nursing profession.

The meeting saw the participation of key figures, including the heads of member organizations of the association and representatives from the World Bank:

  1. Rekha Menon - Practice Manager for Health, Nutrition, and Population, Europe and Central Asia region

  2. Christine Lao Pena - Task Team Leader for Georgia health sector, Senior Economist

  3. Nino Moroshkina - Senior Human Development Specialist.
